is that the best you can do? ensign, i am disappointed with you. maybe your other half would make for a more engaging conversation. i read up some on our universe's version of you, recently. quite accomplished. perhaps one day you'll live up to that, but... i doubt it. you're used to that, though, aren't you? never quite measuring up.
however, i do have to commend you in that you had stopped with that insufferable moping for a very brief amount of time. it was a nice change.
oh my you're as desperate for attention as ever i see. do you ever get tired of that, captain? frantically chasing anything you can when so many of those closest to you can barely seem to tolerate your presence?
perhaps if you convince yourself everyone is laughing with you and not at you, it will be fine.
