It wasn't. I wonder sometimes how much of my mutant abilities are from their experiments and how much are what I was going to have anyway. Maybe it's stupid now, but I'd like to now how much of my power-related problems I can pin on them.
I... huh. Well. I'd say continuing to exist after death kind of rules out literally being soulless. Though I'm not really familiar with the uh, more mystical stuff.
I don't think that's stupid. It's probably impossible to figure out, yeah. But not stupid.
I carried around a few thousand human souls even if I probably technically didn't have one of my own. That's good enough to get a ticket to the extra shitty afterlife, apparently, so I ain't gonna complain too hard. Like I said, it's tricky.
