anyway, to expand on what you've said for the enterprise crew:

the talks with the dominion went as expected. they can kiss our collective asses, tbh, the minefield's going up and staying up.

but at this point we're all expecting a direct attack on the station in the very, very near future. i'm not ready to say it's a given we'll lose deep space nine but it's not looking fantastic. evacuations have started already. bajor's signed a nonaggression with the dominion. we're in for a rough ride, folks.

I know you might not be able to answer it but... what about Starfleet? The Klingons? Does the station not have adequate defenses?

the station's defenses are limited. it's not built for battle, it's built to process ore. as for our reinforcements, i really can't answer that. we're not alone out here though.
