I'd have to look up Depo specifically, but this is a hypo once a year, except in some special cases where you might need a different dosage. No periods in the vast majority of cases, in human women at least. Far fewer side effects than the hormonal birth control you would have had in your time.
Go bug your doctor there in the morning and get your hypo, it oughta end this one early. It'll be a day or two of spotting probably instead of whatever's normal for you.
